Invisalign Orthodontic Treatment

Do you want a straight, beautiful smile but you’re not interested in metal brackets and wires? You may be able to have straight teeth in a minimum amount of time, and no one will even notice you are straightening your teeth. Welcome to Wermerson Orthodontics, please read about some of the clear options we love providing to our patients.  If you have any questions feel free to give us a call. We offer state-of-the-art, virtually invisible orthodontic treatment; it's called Invisalign!

It’s true! Invisalign appliances, also called aligners, are clear plastic and virtually unnoticeable to the people around you. If your smile meets the qualifications for Invisalign or Invisalign For Teens you may also enjoy some of these benefits:

  • Comfort, Invisalign has no sharp, metal parts to irritate soft tissue.
  • Convenience, you can remove the aligners when you eat and to clean them.
  • Confidence, Invisalign is cosmetically attractive and virtually unnoticeable.
  • Satisfaction, you can continue to eat many of the foods you love.
  • Oral health, you can brush and floss you're teeth relatively normally after removing the Invisalign trays.

Your Invisalign treatment begins with a complimentary exam at Wermerson Orthodontics. During your free exam we will evaluate your smile and bite to see if you qualify for Invisalign or if your smile would be better treated with traditional braces.  Don't worry, if your smile would be better treated with braces we also offer clear braces!  Clear braces are made of ceramic material and are much less visible than traditional metal braces.  So if looks are a concern, we have other great options for you. After your complimentary exam if we find you're a candidate for Invisalign your treatment will start with an impression and the creation of your first set of aligners, which are clear plastic trays to fit over your teeth. You will wear the first set for two weeks and then change to another set, which you wear for another two weeks. Every two weeks you receive a new set of aligners, as your teeth gradually move into position.

Invisalign can correct many of the same issues as conventional braces, including teeth that are poorly aligned, rotated, overlapped, or spaced widely apart. Invisalign treatment can also correct major bite problems like crossbite, open bite, underbite, and overbite. You owe it to yourself to discover that straight smile you’ve always wanted. It’s time to discover the magic of Orthodontics. Call us today!
